1. On display loggers, what do the following error codes mean?

•Err 1 - No memory card

•Err 2 - Memory card locked or protected

•Err 23 - Memory card requires reformatting

•Err 66 - Memory card full


2. Why is the LED not flashing at all?

•The logger memory may be full; download the data and clear the memory.

•Sampling may not be activated. To start sampling clear the memory.


3. Why does calibration seem to be off?

•What is the accuracy of the standard the unit is being compared to?

•Calibration is ok if the readings are within the accuracy of both units combined.


4. What if I do not have a serial port?

5. Do I select "Serial" or "USB" when using a Serial to USB adapter?

•Always select "Serial" when prompted by the software.

•If not prompted by the software, go to file, preferences and communications, make sure "USB" is not selected.


6. Why does the external channel read at an extremely high temperature(SP150,SP175,SM320 and SM325 only)?

•Logger has taken at least one sample without a probe connected.


7. How can I preserve a loggers battery life?

•A future data can be set for loggers with a delayed start feature. Setting a delayed start will put the logger in sleep mode. The battery can be removed for other loggers.


8. Why does a temp/Rh logger show a -414F(-247.78C) and 0 Rh reading. (TM325/TM725 only)?

9. Which instrument should be used for an autoclave application?

•The HT100/120/125 is the perfect unit for use in an autoclave.


10. Will a logger stop logging if the power(battery/ac adapter) is removed?

•A logger will stop logging if power is removed. This will not cause you to lose any logged data, but you will have to clear the logger to restart the logging process, this is done using DicksonWare™.
